Background
Tikara’s passion for postpartum care and breastfeeding stems from her own journey after giving birth to premature twins at just over 31 weeks gestation. As a military family, she and her husband were separated from family and had little external support, relying solely on coworkers and hospital staff. Her experience as a NICU parent highlighted the widespread misinformation and inadequate education many parents receive about breastfeeding and postpartum care. Drawing on her personal experiences and evidence-based research, she is dedicated to helping families avoid common frustrations and challenges by offering expert, personalized care—available in-home, in-office and virtually.
