CCC-SLP, CST

Craniosacral Therapist | Speech-Language Pathologist

Background

I have been practicing Craniosacral Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology for over 25 years.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, yet profound healing modality that works directly with the central nervous system, releasing stress and tension held deep in our bodies tissues.

Craniosacral therapy has multiple proven health benefits for babies, children and adults. CST has many advantages for babies with muscular, tissue, and fascial tension due to womb positioning, labor and delivery stress, tethered oral tissue (i.e. tongue tie), torticollis, and other health related issues. As a Craniosacral Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist trained in Oral Motor and Myofunctional therapy, a gentle, non- invasive, intra-oral (in the mouth) therapy may be utilized to help alleviate jaw tension and oral discomfort in babies to help improve his/her latch and to increase comfort for mother and baby. Mothers’ often report that CST aids in better sleep for their babies, improved neck mobility, latching, and a more relaxed and happier baby.
