Dr. Jennifer Shultz

Psy.D.

Mental Health Professional

Background

I view therapy as a collaborative experience, and practice from an integrative approach. Specifically, I work with techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, structural family therapy and attachment theory. My approach centers around finding a way to address the experience of people whose hurts and wounds are often invisible, guiding people to wonder about their patterns of interacting both with themselves and others. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in this very personal journey of healing, so that together we can find you new and healthier patterns of interacting with the world.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (Psy24801) in Los Angeles, California. I received my master’s degree in psychology (M.A.) and my doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) in 2010. I then completed a two year post-doctorate fellowship at UCLA in the department of pediatrics at TIES for Families. Throughout my training I have had exposure working with many types of individuals and specialize in:

⦁ Post-Partum Adjustment/Perinatal Mood and Anxiety
