Background

I didn’t stumble into this work. I grew up in it.

My mom was a NICU nurse for over 30 years. I watched her bring calm to the most fragile moments and knew early that my life would be spent in service of babies and the mothers who love them.

I began my journey as a birth doula and childbirth educator before pursuing nurse midwifery studies deeply immersed in pregnancy, birth, and the full arc of becoming a mother. It was there I found my true calling: postpartum care where feeding, recovery, hormones, sleep, and healing all intersect in ways that most providers never stop to look at together.

For over 16 years I have walked beside families during one of life’s most tender seasons. I have sat with thousands of mothers who did everything right and were still struggling in silence. Because nobody had looked at the whole picture.

That’s exactly what I do.

I’m also a former professional ballet dancer a background that deeply informs my understanding of movement, body awareness, and somatic regulation. Originally from St. Augustine, I’ve lived in Chicago and Mexico City before landing in Miami. Off the clock you’ll find me in the kitchen, moving my body, or somewhere in the sun.

There is no “right” way to feed your baby. There is only your way.

We support every feeding journey; breast, chest, bottle, formula, combo, or still figuring it out. We welcome every family, every structure, every background, every story.

Judgment-free. Welcoming of all. This is a place for you.
