Occupational Therapist

Background

Nathalie Seguin, OTR/L, SWC, CBS
Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist in Ventura County.

Your baby’s feeding journey is personal. So is my approach.

I’m Nathalie, and I’ve spent over 30 years as an occupational therapist — with more than 15 years dedicated exclusively to pediatric feeding. I hold an Advanced Practice in SwallowingAssessment, Evaluation and Intervention from the California Board of Occupational Therapy, I’m a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and I’m certified in the Tummy Time! Method™.

But what really drives me?

Hearing from parents how long it took to finally get help.

Too many families face a long, exhausting road — a pediatrician visit, a referral, an insurance approval, another wait. Days and weeks go by, and your baby is still struggling. That’s why I started Lil’ Nugget. I wanted to create a better way. A faster way. A warmer way.

My philosophy: Treat the whole child.

When a parent comes to me with feeding concerns, I know that feeding isn’t just about feeding. Body alignment, muscle tone, tension, motor development delays including oral motor skills, sensory processing and regulation difficulties — they all play a role. I look at the whole picture, not just the symptom. And I partner with you, the parent, every step of the way.

What I love most? Watching families go from “I don’t know what to do” to “We’ve got this.” There’s nothing like seeing a baby who once refused to eat now happily breastfeeding/bottle feeding — and a parent beaming with pride.
