Provider Policy
The Baby Collective, LLC

The Baby Collective is a curated directory designed to help parents discover professionals, services, and businesses that support families during infancy and early childhood, while also fostering connection and education among professionals. This Provider Policy outlines expectations for all providers listed in the directory and applies to all individuals and businesses who submit information for inclusion.
By participating in The Baby Collective, providers agree to comply with this Provider Policy in addition to the Provider Service Terms & Agreement.
1. Directory Purpose & Scope
- Informational Directory: The Baby Collective functions solely as an informational directory.
- No Endorsement or Oversight: Inclusion in the directory does not constitute endorsement, referral, supervision, or oversight of services.
- Independent Services: The Baby Collective does not provide medical, legal, therapeutic, or professional services and does not participate in client-provider relationships. All services are delivered independently by the listed provider or business.
2. Accuracy of Information
Providers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate, current, and truthful. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Professional title and credentials
- Licensure or certification (where applicable)
- Scope of services
- Business name, website, and contact information
- Photos and descriptions
Providers agree to update their listing promptly if any material information changes.
3. Credentials & Representation
- Accurate Representation: Providers must accurately represent their qualifications, training, and scope of practice.
- Limitations: Providers may not imply credentials, certifications, or expertise they do not hold, nor may they claim outcomes, guarantees, or authority beyond their professional scope.
- Documentation: The Baby Collective reserves the right to request clarification or documentation if concerns arise regarding representation.
4. Content Standards
All submitted content must adhere to the following standards:
- Professionalism: Content must be professional, respectful, and appropriate for a family-focused audience.
- Truthfulness: Content must be non-deceptive and non-misleading.
- Prohibited Content: Fear-based, sensationalized, or alarmist language is not permitted. Discriminatory, offensive, or harmful content is prohibited.
5. Use of Images & Media
- Legal Rights: Providers must have the legal right to use any photos or media submitted.
- Compliance: Images must not infringe on copyright, privacy, or intellectual property rights.
- Relevance: Images must be appropriate and representative of the provider’s business or services.
6. Editing & Formatting
The Baby Collective reserves the right to make minor edits to listings for:
- Grammar and spelling
- Formatting, consistency, clarity, and readability
Edits will not change the meaning or intent of provider-submitted content. Substantive changes will not be made without provider consent.
7. No Endorsement or Guarantee
- Business Outcomes: Inclusion in the directory does not guarantee inquiries, clients, or business outcomes.
- Verification: The Baby Collective does not verify outcomes, effectiveness, or client satisfaction.
- Provider Evaluation: Parents and caregivers are responsible for independently evaluating providers.
8. Complaints & Concerns
If concerns are raised regarding a provider’s listing or conduct:
- The Baby Collective may request clarification or updates.
- Listings may be temporarily hidden during review.
- Continued inclusion is at the discretion of The Baby Collective.
9. Removal or Suspension
The Baby Collective reserves the right to remove or suspend a listing at any time if a provider:
- Misrepresents credentials or services.
- Submits false or misleading information.
- Violates this Provider Policy or the Provider Service Terms.
- Engages in conduct that may harm families or the integrity of the directory.
Removal may occur with or without notice depending on the nature of the concern.
10. Policy Updates
This Provider Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the directory or operational needs. Continued participation in The Baby Collective after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.—–Questions
